Thinking about a trip of this kind, the first thing that came to my mind to do, almost like a game, was to create a logo for it, a bit like giving a face to this project.
The name
First of all, the name, which is actually a desire, or rather the desire to be able to travel around the world with a 40-year-old Vespa.
So the name, in a simple and clear way, wants to evoke the three important things of this project, the “Vespa”, the “ride” and the “world”…, simple!
But what is the world tour? In my opinion it is to leave towards the east, or towards the west, and return home on the OPPOSITE side, after having traveled the whole planet, crossing the five continents and visiting as many places as possible.
So the name, in a simple and clear way, wants to evoke the three important things of this project, the “Vespa”, the “ride” and the “world”…, simple!
The logo
The essential elements of this logo are the words, the font and the color.
We have already talked about the words, while the character is deliberately not clearly delineated. This will be the character of this path, free in its birth and in its evolution, both for personal choices and for organizational needs or limitations.
And finally the color, red like the Vespa P200E that will accompany me on this fantastic adventure.
